First OB appt at 8 weeks?

I have my first OB appointment scheduled at 8 weeks. I know the first appointment is usually just to confirm pregnancy but do they also do an ultrasound normally?

I called. They said they only have me do a pregnancy test and talk with the nurse. Seems like a waste of time since i’ve already been doing pregnancy tests lol. Not to mention this will be my 3rd kiddo. Not my first rodeo. Haha. Gonna have to wait to see the babe I guess :( Good luck to you ladies though! Praying for healthy babies!

I just called the Dr office and they said there will be an ultrasound done. I go there in the 25th of March.

My first will be at 8 weeks too! They have me scheduled for a sonogram and a visit with the doctor :)

I have my first appt March 28th with the Physicians Assistant. Not sure what it will entail but I was surprised I won’t be seeing my doc. The 28th feels like an ETERNITY from now!!

They should! You can hear the heartbeat and see the little bean by then!
