Question about children’s vs infant Advil?

So the dosage for infant Advil over 24 lbs is 3ml. In children’s Advil the dosage over 24lbs is 6ml. Why the difference? This kinda scares me into giving my son children’s Advil, but it comes in a bigger bottle. He’s 19mos and weighs 25 lbs. if someone could explain this to me I’d feel so much better lol.

The difference is the concentration of the active ingredient Ibuprofen. 
Children’s Advil has 100mg/500ml
Infant’s Advil as 50mg/1.25ml (so 200mg/500ml) which means the infant Advil has twice as much ibuprofen per ml.

Infant Advil is more concentrated than children’s, that’s why the dosage is smaller

My pediatrician told me only difference between infant and children's is the consistency of it. Infant is thicker and children's is more liquidy
