This was my first pregnancy and I got blessed with twin girls. So I had a really good pregnancy with my babies. I had heart burn and migraines once in a while. At 36 weeks and 2 days I was getting my pregnancy pillow ready to go to sleep while my husband was in the bathroom. I heard a pop and all this water kept gushing out. I yelled at my husband he opened the door and said ok He slowly closed it. A few mins later he opens the door and is like “did you hear a pop?” He googled water breaking hahah. So my parents coming and grab us to take us to the hospital. He hurt his leg earlier so my mom was pushing me in a wheelchair and my dad was pushing my husband. It was about 11 when we got in so since no contractions. We were in the labour and delivery ward but no one else was there so my husband got to sleep in the bed beside me. Around 6 I started getting contractions and they hooked me up to a monitor. They call everyone in and they wheel me to the back around 8. My mom comes in with me and I have a good surgery. Me and my dr decided to do a c section. I had one planned for Jan 10th but t happened on December 28th. She goes back to the room with the babies and I go to recovery. Once the drugs wear off a bit I go back to my room. My husband is in there with my mom tears in his eyes. I’ve never seen my husband cry. Baby a was 5.11 and baby b was 7.1. Baby a is definitely the bull out of the two she was always scraping with her sister when we would get ultrasounds done. Now that they were born she’s always slapping at her sister still and trying to pull out her sucky while smiling. I can’t imagine my life any other way at this point I’m so in love with them. I packed way too big of clothes for them to come home in. They now fit them at 7 weeks.
