Heart palpatations?!

Anyone else getting heart palpitations?

I had them a lot in second trimester. If you are low on potassium it can cause them. I was low on potassium bc I was vomiting so much. I saw a cardiologist about it. I also read they can be a side effect of colace in case you’re taking that.

I've had a couple. I spoke to the dr about it today actually and she said its somewhat common in the 3rd trimester and most times nothing to worry about, but we are doing an EKG tomorrow just to rule out anything abnormal.

I have a condition called NCS that causes them and I had them pretty regularly before pregnancy. They were AWFUL in my first pregnancy and I’ve maybe had two episodes since entering the third. My doc wasn’t concerned and told me to remain well hydrated and it can sometimes be attributed to the increased blood volume.

Usually not something to worry about in pregnancy since you’re pumping so much extra blood right now. If it’s prolonged, yes. If you’re concerned, call your doctor.

Yes I've been getting them a lot my doctor doesn't seem concerned she said its normal. Although it's more of a fast beating heart

I get them every few days. I asked my doctor about them and he said if they last less than 1 minute then they're nothing to worry about

I’m not, but that is one of the things my doctor told me to call right away if it happens. I’d call your doctor and let them know.
