I’m 3weeks post csection and I finally had the guts to look at my incision. So my belly is still a little bigger and hangs over my incision, the tape is still over the incision dr told my it would fall off on its own but it hasn’t and there is an odor. I think the odor is just from the tape since it has been on since the surgery. I’m in no pain at all and feel great so I’m not super concerned about infection. Should I remove the tape myself? I don’t think it will fall off on its own since my stomach covers the incision most of the time and in shower (dr told me not to wash the area just to let the water drip over, and I use towel to pat area dry after).

Btw I am going to call the dr in the morning just looking for a little advice in the meantime.
