Would you allow parents to move in with you and your SO if they needed to

I’ve seen a lot of post about parent moving in or in laws moving in with them and asking what to do. A lot of the comments say they would never put up with their parents or their partners parents moving in with them.

If my mom or dad needed to move in with me and my husband I wouldn’t even have to think about it they have always been there for me so I would definitely be there for them if they needed it. We moved in with my husband grandma because she was going to lose her home ( she doesn’t even get enough money a month to pay the mortgage alone) we pay all the bills and the home will be left to us and she gets to live comfortably not worry about money.

If his dad one day needed to move in I wouldn’t put up a fight about it because that’s his family. But if his mom needed to move in, never in a million years would he or me allow that I’d rather see her on the street then in our home. ( we no longer have any contact with her).

But I was just wondering how many would allow parents to move in with them for financial reasons or medical reasons if they needed someone to live with.
