Is Atlanta, Georgia a safe place to live?

It depends on which part of Atlanta, there’s a lot of dangerous places to live down there. 
But there’s nicer areas in Atlanta too, but it’s normally pricy.

Well I live not too far from college park. I also lived in Bankhead my whole childhood. I’ve never been a victim of a crime. Then again I don’t go out by myself really late at night 🤷🏽‍♀️

i live in GA, about 2 hours away from atlanta. my parents lived there for a few years and the only thing they complain about was traffic 🤷🏻‍♀️ there are a few dangerous places i guess, you just have to be aware of where they are. it’s very overdramatized on the danger of it tbh. it’s really similar to most capital cities

Depends on which part. College park is probably the worse. I lived just north of ATL for 2 years and did not care for it but that's a preference because lots of people love it. There are many big churches and many big spiders and lots of little ants.  It is also very segregated... which I did not like.  People have their own neighborgoods. Literally one plaza I went to get my haircut was all Spanish stores and shops. The next street over will be almost all white or almost all black.  It drove me nuts that people still keep themselves separated there - there might be less segregation in the city itself but up in the burbs it was bad. To me, it felt like time travel backwards at least 20 years.
