Fighting w my boyfriend

A little back story- my boyfriend and I have been on and off since 2015. I stopped working back in May because I was pregnant and the shifts were too hard on my body. Our son was born in October. My boyfriend hasn’t wanted me to go back to work bc he doesn’t want someone we don’t know watching him or even a daycare. Also we only had one car so he could only work. Well In February he totaled my car I was letting him take to work. Now every time we fight he tells me to buy my own car and that the accident wouldn’t of happened if he didn’t have to work for me. Obviously I have no money of my own since I haven’t been working. I think he should have to replace my car but he doesn’t think he does. What is your opinion???
