I have hsv2... I sadly get outbreaks every couple months.. just looking for advice words of wisdom ... do any of u have it too! How do u deal! I feel despressed and forever alone... my body feels so achy before outbreaks come now. Ugh. I’m stressed and depressed. Is this common? No one talks about it and I feel
Ashamed embarrassed and alone . How can I stop the outbreaks from happening naturally.

Take l-lysine everyday and make sure you’re getting plenty of vitamin c everyday to minimize outbreaks. Keeping your immune system in tip top shape is essential to avoiding outbreaks. Also many essential oils can help aid in stopping outbreaks in its tracks or minimizing the duration of the outbreak, try frankincense with a carrier oil (coconut oil, etc) do some tea search.

You can also take daily suppression meds. 
Herpes is nothing to be embarrassed about. 
90%of the population have one or both types of herpes and 80% of the population don't know they have it because standard std testing does not include herpes testing.

Have you talked to a doctor about getting on meds to deter outbreaks?

My mom in law has it, well I’m not sure which one exactly, but she’s on meds to prevent outbreaks. As is my bff actually. But both are married and their partners are herpes free because of the meds. You’re more likely to transmit right before an outbreak than during, so meds are important.
