Is it okay if your husband texts another woman?

I'm a very jelous person. I try not to and just trust my husband. But he met a woman at his work and seems to be texting her all the time. He also talks about her alot and cares about her opinions. We where shopping for a baby carrier and he had to text and get her opinion on what one is best. Am I over thinking? I can't open up to my husband about issues like this or else he gets mad and it just turns into a fight.

In your situation....the fact that he turns you communicating your issues into an argument is wrong. 
And asking her opinion on a baby carrier is weird.
It would be one thing if they were friends for years......but they just met

I text other men and I would be pissed if my husband told me I wasn't allowed. Some of my closest friends are dudes.  I used to be super jealous intil I realized it'd be a double standard for me to tell him no. We just are very open with our texts to other people and that helps my jealousy. He doesn't get jealous and couldnt care less but I tell him anyway when I talk to my close guy friends just to keep it "even".

I think it’s weird because he just met her. My guy has plenty of girl friends who were around before me. But I wouldn’t be okay with him just becoming super close with a random girl. There’s no reason for that in an exclusive relationship.

I don’t trust it. Never will. And plus you said he’s talking about his coworker and cares about her opinion . Then I’d think you should take a charge and ask whats going? Dig a little more into the information. Would he be upset if you were showing a little more attention to your guy friend?

Its okay for him to have female friends, but it seems like he's oddly involved with her opinions on things that don't matter. He shouldn't get mad if you're trying to talk to him, but I don't think you should come off as he's dons something, more that its worrying because it seems like he's too invested in her where he shouldn't be. Maybe ask to keep some things between yourselves. 
I'm a jealous and insecure person myself but I've learned the way you deal with it can be very wrong when you think you're just trying to communicate.
