Is anyone having shortness of breath?

I’m 21 weeks and 5 days today and for the last week and a half I’ve been having shortness of breath badly. I fee out of breath and exhausted constantly and I can barely make it up my stairs to my second story without feeling like I might pass out sometimes. I know that some shortness of breath is normal and I’m calling my doctor tomorrow to make sure there’s nothing going on medically but I’m curious if anyone else has experienced it as bad and what you’ve done to help with it?

Yes. Always and my heart races. As far as I know its normal.

Yup, it was one of the first symptoms I started showing 😒 common in first trimester due to high progesterone levels and common the rest of the pregnancy due to baby taking up more room.

I'm constantly huffing and puffing these days. My doc says it's normal as long as I can still get sufficient oxygen

I've had shortness of breath since the very beginning. It sucks! Feeling like you're going to pass out from ordinary daily activities sounds really bad though.  I would be concerned that there's something else going on.

I just talked to my doctor about the same symptoms. She said this very normal at this stage in a healthy pregnancy

Yes. That happened in the 1st trimester for me. My heart races too. My BP looks really good. These things just happen.

Yeah me too! I had asthma as a kid and it went away when I was about 10 but I feel like it’s back, wheezing and coughing 😐 even laying down
