Went into my 38 week checkup and progressed to 4cm and 80% thinned
Went into my 38 week checkup and progressed to 4cm and 80% thinned. I gained 3 lbs in a week!!! Dr asked if we wanted to have him today and we said yes! Thank goodness too. This baby was born March 4th at 11:07PM. He weighed 8lbs 5oz!!!! So he would have been huge if I had went to 40 weeks! I started pushing at 11:02pm and he was out at 11:07. I was really really surprised cuz I couldn’t feel ANYTHING! My dr came in to check me and the baby’s head was literally right there. I didn’t feel the pressure of him or anything. 
Let me say though, they broke my water before the epidural and those contractions are no joke!! Any mom who delivers without meds or can go a long time before getting anything, deserves 100,000$!!! Even though I breathed through them like a champ, OMG!! The epidural wasn’t wanting to take in a spot on my left side but finally fixed it and I was good!
Being honest I didn’t think he was cute when he was first born. It all happened so fast he was swollen and bruised. But now it’s all going down. And I’m in love. I don’t have any recent pics, just these RIGHT after he was born. (Well the last one his swelling was better but I’ll if you can tell).
