Does a triphasic pattern always indicate pregnancy?
Can you have a triphasic pattern and not be pregnant? I'm on CD 27 today, and since I just got my period back after having a baby 9 months ago, I don't know how long my cycles are (before, they were 25-26 days). I got off birth control a month ago so we could start trying in April-May, so I started charting this month. We've used a condom every single time, but I have a clear as day triphasic pattern. I read that it can be an indication of pregnancy. Is it possible to not be pregnant? We were waiting for 3 months for my husband's meds to be out of his system since they can cause birth defects, which is why we didn't want to get pregnant right now. They say after 1 month it's fine, but we were wanting to go the 3 months, which is the life cycle of a sperm. So it's not the end of the world if I'm pregnant, but I would just feel a lot better if I weren't pregnant just yet. I know I can take a pregnancy test probably today and get an answer, but I've only got one here at home and I really don't want to take it until I completely miss my period.
