my hair falls flat after curling, any tips?

so i have pretty straight hair usually and whenever i curl my hair it goes flat within minutes... does anyone have any tips to help keep my hair curled longer? 
this is my hair normally (i don’t have a good picture of it)..

and this is when my hairstylist curled it.. it fell out in five minutes and was straight again

please comment any tips you may have!! 🤙🏼

A few things,
Products. Some texture spray will help. A lot. Seems like you have really fine hair. And then a stronger hair spray. 
And curling your hair tighter than desired will help it not drop so quickly.

1. Dirty hair holds a curl better. 2. Apply mousse and a mist of hairspray on your hair before curling it.
3. After you curl a piece of hair, hold it in your hand for a couple seconds for it to cool off. 4. Once it is cooled off some, spray it again with hair spray.
It will take longer doing it this way but it holds better

Also your hair might have way too much build up on it. Try a shampoo that will clarify your hair ever so often.

My hair is the same way. Unfortunately, there isn't much you can do. But dirty hair tends to hold style better. So curl it a day or two after you wash your hair. And just so much hairspray. You may have better luck with heatless curlers overnight, but it's more effort.

If it's freshly cleaned, it's gonna be difficult for your hair to hold the curl.

Mine is the same way. You could put a whole can of hairspray and five min later it'll be straight. The only thing I've ever used that keeps a curl is sugar spray. Literally 1-2 tablespoons of sugar dissolved in water with a bit of alcohol and aloe, shook up and used as a hairspray.

You have to prep your hair with good product for sure. I'm a stylist. One of my favorite things to do before using heat is to spray on some kenra heat protectant. It actually has hold to it also so it will give you a little extra while protecting your hair fron the heat then use a hairspray like kenra 25 or redken 32 triple take. Make sure when you do apply the hairspray you are about 12 inches away from your head. Also if you spray your hair while it's in a tighter curl, let it dry, then take your fingers or a wide tooth comb through that would help!
