We had our anatomy ultrasound today and it showed that baby has a small calcification on his heart. Everything else on the ultrasound looked great and the doctor assured me that having one “soft marker” is usually not concerning. Has anyone had this happen at their anatomy scan? We are going to schedule an advanced ultrasound and genetic testing bloodwork just to give me a piece of mind because I’m a worry wart. Everything I’ve read said that it’s fairly common and most babies are born with no problems. Just wondering if any other moms have went through this as well.
