Braxton Hicks contractions & back pain?

Hey ladies, I just started having BH contractions about an hr ago when shopping for decor for the baby’s nursery. It was so bad that I doubled over the shopping cart and again at the register and waited about 10 minutes to start driving again.. The pain is spreading to my back and got intense when I started driving home again and that hasn’t been that uncomfortable before. Like gritting your teeth kinda pain.. it’s subsided for now but has been feeling like this on and off for 2 days mainly in the middle of the night when stomach gets hard/tight. Wasn’t even dilated at all and cervix closed as of last Wednesday. Is this normal? Due March 15th

If there’s pain, those sound like actual contractions! Hopefully they start to become more regular so you can go to the hospital - good luck! 🤞🏼🙏🏼

I’ve got this exact same. Painful contractions at night for a few hours but then they slow down and stop. I’m so over it!

You are in early stage labour by sound of it. I have been in early stages for almost 4 days, mainly at afternoon or night but today it was all day and definite contractions. No idea what my cervix is like as no checks but its making me very tired.
