How soon after birth did you start pumping?

I’ll be off of work for 6 weeks at least and before I go back to work I would like to have enough milk saved to get my baby through the day without me being there to actually feed her.

I started at 2 weeks PP with my last baby because I also had 6 weeks to build a supply. I actually pumped one side while she nursed the other and would switch sides at the next feeding. 
With this baby I will thankfully be off for 5 months so I will nurse exclusively for about 3 and then start to build by stash.

I didn't start consistently pumping until four weeks postpartum and introduced the bottle at six weeks postpartum.👌🏾 However, I am self-employed. If I had to return to work, I would have started pumping sooner. I would recommend around two or three weeks.🤷🏾‍♀️

Right after I got home I was enforced so much I’d cry cause it hurt . I’d pump nothing came out for days! Finally it did and I pumped a lot

2 weeks? I got mastitis and would’ve sooner if I had gotten my pump earlier
