Anyone pass their sugar test but still have to take it again?

My sugar test around 28 weeks was fine but now that my baby is looking big they’re asking me to take another sugar test. Anyone else have this happen? What are the chances that I have gd now if I didn’t then?

Had one at around 8 weeks then again at 28 weeks

They had me do a glucose test at 13 weeks ((which I passed). I have to do it again at 26 weeks, but the first pass is a good indicator that the second will be fine too. I hope!

Yes! I'm so annoyed. I passed my first one and now I'm over 36 weeks and doing it again because my baby's stomach measured larger than his head/femur. I'm doing the 2 hour one this morning.

I have gestational diabetes and it's not that bad. It's a bit annoying but I am happy to do anything to keep my baby healthy. Plus, you really want to know if you have it because if you have a high fasting sugar number (overnight), your baby can be still born. It's only 1% or 2% but it's better to know and monitor it. The doctors just monitor you more closely and you get to see ultrasounds more often too. I totally freaked out when I got diagnosed with it but after my doctor explained the chance of stillbirth, I changed my attitude toward it. It's not so bad. I had one at 28 weeks and then i had to have another at 32 weeks because his stomach was bigger and it come back negative so I wouldn’t worry to much
