Extremely dry during sex

Hey ladies! So I got a yeast infection right before my period and it went away (I think) during. So my period just ended this morning and she’s been fine all day. My boyfriend has been patiently waiting to have sex with me as I live with him 😂 but when we had sex the outside became so irritated and swollen! I was so dry and couldn’t get wet! (I was wet when we started and y’all I swear like magic it was gone) I have no discharge and it’s not itchy down there so I’m pretty sure no infection.... I don’t really have the money for a doctor but will go if this doesn’t get any better 😔 my boyfriends birthday is in a few days I don’t wanna let him down 😭
