What are your thoughts on letting a child watch a horror movie? Would you? Or is there a certain age you would allow it. One of my family members think I'm crazy for not allowing it. The only reason im not going to allow my son to watch one is because when I was younger my mom made us kids watch all kinds of horror movies, didnt matter the rating. It's what we normally watched, now as a kid that caused me to go in my room at night and NEED to watch a "good" movie before bed. I was PETRIFIED of the tooth fairy due to that creepy horror movie. I'd lose my shit crying when I lost a tooth. I don't want my son to be scared like that because of some movie. Opinions? I should add, I love horror movies still at this age lol I'm just curious on peoples opinions on this topic. Chucky/scream. Movies like that never affected me. It was the ones where I understood
