I’ve already spoken with my LOs pedi, they advised me to not use cortisone cream or anything else on his skin since he’s still new (4 weeks Thursday) they did say if I want to put anything on it I can use aquaphor. Has anyone else’s LO had something similar to this? It’s only on his face, neck, and a tiny bit on his chest like where his skin shows from his onesies. To give a little back story, he was EBF, he’s colicky, also on Zantac for reflux and the pedi told me to cut dairy out of my diet to see if that helped with his fussiness. This rash appeared out of nowhere. Starting out looking like baby acne and then kind of like painful eczema. It doesn’t bother him, he isn’t rubbing his face or scratching. He is now strictly formula fed and doing well on the formula he’s on. The rash started before we started formula. The pedi said to call for an appointment if it got worse or he started a fever, neither of which have happened it is just SLOWLY clearing up. We also use dreft for his clothes and my clothes. Does this look like an allergy? If it’s from dairy does it take awhile for it to clear up?

The first picture is when it was at its worst, the middle picture is after applying breastmilk to his face, and the second is now. ***i haven’t applied more BM to his face as it makes him so upset because he wants to BM but I cannot give it to him because I was on dairy with everything I have pumped and I’m afraid it’ll make the rash worse***
