Good books to explain pregnancy to a 3 year old

Miranda

I recently informed my 3 year old daughter that she’s going to be a big sister, and she seems pretty interested so far and asks a lot of questions but I want to make sure I’m explaining everything in the best way possible... What books do a really good job at explaining everything and would be good for her age range?

Aw Congrats!💗, barnes and nobles has a variety of books that are really cute about bringing home a new baby and being a big sister. I got my daughter a book called im a big sister from there and its really cute and colorful, shes 5 but i also wanted to involve her as much as possible with this pregnancy so I'd bring her a long with me to ultrasound appointments, let her pick things out for her baby brother on the way and now that in 28 weeks she'll be the first one I'll call over to feel little movements and now before leaving to school she has to kiss my belly bye its definitely a sweet thing

We loved Welcome Little Baby by Aliki. Lots of depiction of older toddlers having fun while baby snuggles with Mama, so we used the pictures to talk about the attention babies need and all the fun things big kids can do

There's a House Inside My Mommy by Giles Andreae is a super cute one, I was giggling while reading it. :)

My daughter just turned 2 in December and indie in March. She’s pretty young and I’m sure s lot changes between the ages of two and three but her favorite book is called “hello in there a big sisters book of waiting” it’s more fun than informative. I like it because it’s focused on the pregnancy aspect.
