too early to share the news?

I’m 5 1/2 weeks and I really want to tell my clothes friends because if something were to happen I would want their support. We haven’t told anyone yet.. should I just keep to myself or go ahead?

We told family and close friends the day after we had it confirmed by blood work at 4 weeks exactly. We knew if something happened those same people would find out anyway, it made me feel better knowing other people were praying for us and there to support us no matter what happened. We did make it clear to everyone we told to not tell anyone else until after we announced. It’s totally up to you! If you want to then go for it, if not then that’s okay too! Also, congratulations ❤️

I wouldn’t.. learned my lesson after saying at 5 1/2 weeks at 4:20 pm, and had a miscarriage at 2am the next morning... if I get pregnant again definitely waiting as long as I can.

A few close friends and family knew we were doing IVF so I told them as soon as I got a positive test. I’ve had so many miscarriages that they’ve known about so I felt I could share the joy for however long that joy lasts.
