Became vegan on 2/22/19

Andrea

So I’m loving it so far! This is what I’m starting out at (pics taken on the 22nd)

Hoping to lose about 30lbs!

Any vegan tips for weight lose would be appreciated! I’m also trying to conceive lol 🤪 so I know that’s odd to be trying to lose weight and get pregnant!

Whole foods, raw until four is a good vegan set up for weight loss. I’m vegan for the animals so I eat a lot processed fake meats that aren’t the best for you and still lost some weight. You’ll lose much more without processed stuff though. Make sure you are taking a good vitamin and Pinterest will have a lot of raw and cooked recipes to try.

Thanks! I’m loving the gardenia chipotle bean burgers at the moment bt trying to eat as much raw fruits and veggies as I can. Thanks for the comment!

Aw wow thank you! I’m feeling really insecure, I’m at my heaviest I’ve ever been in my life! My husband says he’s happy with my body but I’m just not quite comfortable yet. Thanks again for the very nice comment 💗

this is just a common misconception but just becoming vegan does not automatically mean weight loss (it can depend on your body) I would recommend a raw vegan diet on some days and others a normal vegan diet (if you eat raw eat as much as possible or you will not get enough calories) but i wish you luck

Congratulations! I actually gained weight when I became pregnant, because food tasted soooo much better now that dairy wasn’t coating my tongue. 😂 But I’ve been vegan for 7 years now and I’ve found a few good ways to lose weight. +Replace one meal with a Vega protein shake. Choose the meal you usually eat the least healthiest. For me, that’s lunch, as I usually make good choices for breakfast and dinner. +Weight Watchers worked for me when I wanted to get fit for my wedding. It’s extremely flexible so it’s very vegan-friendly. Not a short term solution, it took months, but it was effective. The cookbook “Appetite For Reduction” by Isa Chandra Moskowitz is extremely WW friendly and is filled with delicious recipes that I make even when I’m not trying to lose weight. +Ani Phyo’s 15-Day Fat Blast. It’s a raw food diet, which is intense, but oh my gosh, all the food is sooooo good! I love this when I need to drop a quick ten pounds, because you can eat until you’re full and still lose weight. I hate feeling hungry. I love that the program is filled with lots of healthy fats. For the most part, veganism has done wonders for my self-esteem. I feel good about my body, even when it’s not its thinnest. I love how the food nourishes me and doesn’t hurt animals. 💚

Weight loss comes with diet and exercise, but being vegan is NOT diet. It's a lifestyle. I believe in you, but if you narrow down your "WHY?" You'll be more successful!
