I’m European and my boyfriend is Nigerian. He just told about Nigerian traditions of choosing names, so there is have to be two names: first name is Nigerian and at the local tribe languages and the second can be English or international. I have checked hundreds of African names.... found only 3 male and 3 female names more or less acceptable. So I really want to make it different, I wish the baby can have English name as first and Nigerian as second. Anyways we are an international family, not traditional Nigerian. So I need an advice and a help how to convince him, cause my man doesn’t agree at all. And of course I do have a name on my mind already which is have to be the first one so Nigerian name have to fit this one.

My idea for now is the name for baby boy:

1st name - Everett

2d name - Ekio, Timieri, Tari

+African surname.
