35w6d 2 cm dilated?

I will be 36 weeks tomorrow and at my appointment today I was 2 cm dilated and 50% effaced. I have some spotting with mucus but no contractions (they checked me today so I’m guessing spotting could be bc of that). Has anyone stayed dilated for weeks or went into labor right after?

I was 3 cm dilated with my 2nd for the whole last month. I was induced with her but it was to time things with the blood thinner I had to be on so I’m pretty sure I would have went in that day I was induced or the next anyway since I was already having contractions.
