Frustrated 4 month old?

Question

So I don’t know if this is normal but my son is 4 months old and I feel like he tries really hard to do stuff then when he can’t, he freaks out. Like his mind wants to do stuff that he’s not physically capable of just yet.
For example, when he does tummy time, he literally looks like hes trying to crawl. He obviously can’t crawl yet, so when he realizes this he starts crying hysterically. And when he’s on his back, he tries to roll over and he’s almost there but he seems to get frustrated that he can’t do it and then hysterically cries.
 Also, he has a little play mat that has toys and objects hanging from it. He will grab the objects and try to bring them close to him but since they are attached, he freaks out lol.     
Anyone else’s baby do this or is something wrong with my baby?

My LO doesn’t get frustrated  but sometimes curious mainly because he sees his bigger brother do things he can’t . When my almost 2 year old is jumping around or laughing or playing he looks at him in awe or amazement . It’s intriguing really and rather sweet . I think his biggest thing his going through now is the constant fist in his  mouth he gets frustrated because it won’t fit lo

Oh my gosh thought I was the only one experiencing this! My LO will constantly roll from back to tummy and try to crawl but since he can’t he gets super irritated and starts to cry. I would roll him back to his back but then right when I do that he’s back on his tummy getting frustrated again! Lol it’s funny because he learned how to go from tummy to back first but now that he can go from back to tummy it’s like he forgot how to roll back 🤦🏻‍♀️

My son does that too. I gets frustrated at tummy tummy cause he wants to crawl and can't. So he moves like crazy, seems like he is swimming lol. I started doing tummy time in front of a mirror and it helps.

Yep he’s been like this since day one. He used to get so mad when he couldn’t hold up his head. We don’t do much tummy time unfortunately because he gets so mad that he can’t crawl.

My LO has been doing this since like a month old.  He doesn't like to be on his tummy but doesnt try to roll over,  he gets so mad he army crawled using his head to scoot instead of his hands. Now he sees the daycare kids and is pushing his butt up but doesnt understand lifting his belly. He uses his hands more now at 3 months, but still just wants to crawl. And when he cant gets frustrated and slams his head on his mat and wails.

Same.. when I give my baby a chance to play with hanging toys or something like that, he’ll seem to get frustrated and start fussing and getting angry.. I’m thinking 🤔 I thought this was supposed to be fun?? Lol so I let him play for short periods at a time

Our little girl does the same thing, she can roll tummy to back fine but struggles from back to tummy, and if she’s trying but unsuccessful she screams in frustration, she’s recently found she can push up on her legs and stand when holding onto my hands and when her little legs get tired and can’t hold her weight no more she screams also. She doesn’t realise she’s still young lol she just wants to copy everyone else x
