Progesterone after iui?

Am I the only person here that doesn’t take progesterone after iui? I’m trying to find out why. I had a 8 week miscarriage due to no heartbeat in January. Got that pregnancy off of my first iui. No progesterone with that. They don’t take blood work either. Can they tell off ultrasounds? I asked at my consult after d&c and she said she doesn’t think I need it. I’m on cd 9 and spotting finally went away. Lining looked good today, but I can’t tell if my spotting was from femara or period. Should I ask again? I don’t want to seem annoying 🤦🏼‍♀️ but also don’t want another miscarriage if it’s something we can help
