I’m on the fence. Sometimes older men have more knowledge and they prey on you being younger and more naive. Some women who are more mature can handle the difference. It’s all up to you and how you feel. It’s okay to have some insecurities about it, just make sure it’s your choice. Don’t let friends, family, or strangers make you feel bad about whatever decisions you choose to make. Maybe journal about it.

The brain doesn't develop until 25, and 31 is way past that stage. Legally you might be an adult but in terms of development you aren't.
Generally a person going after someone that much younger, is because they can't get someone their own age and prey on the naivety of the younger person. The life stages are completely different. No matter how mature you think you are, it's not as much as you think

As someone who preyed upon by an older man I'm against it. In another five years yall can revisit it, but at 21 your headspace is still very different than 31 and there's still quite a few hormonal shifts. I think it sounds like a bad idea, you want even footing and a little more life experience before you decide to date someone who made it to 31 single. Dont forget he is single for a reason. There's also usually a reason they look for young girls. It isnt just perkier tits it's less practice juggling life and bills. It's just easier to make a target out of someone young and vulnerable. Especially easy if they have too much pride(like I did) to admit it when others who knew us tried to warn me. Listen to people who actually know and care about you, what do they think?

No it doesn’t matter. It depends on the maturity and where you both are at in life honestly . I wouldn’t to much worry about it hun. My mom had a 9 year age gape with someone she dated along time ago . Keep in mind not everyone is going to agree with it in life but it’s both of y’alls choice .
