What do gas cramps feel like? 13 Weeks...

I woke up last night with terrible cramps. They only stopped after I threw up and let out some gas. Ate kind of a heavy dinner and have been somewhat constipated. Do gas cramps actually feel like normal period cramps? Or could this be something else?
No bleeding and I have a Doppler so I checked baby's heartbeat this morning and it was good.

Yes, gas pains can be excruciating! I’ve had it so bad where it feels like the pain was in my chest! Was ready to go to the ER and about 10 minutes later had the most relieving fart ever 😂😂😂 & sometimes it causes bad back pain too!

Terrible period like cramps and back cramps.... thought I was dying. Curled up in a ball it hurt so bad. One large pass of gas and some relief from the constipation later and all the pain went away.
