Should I find a new doctor? (read description)

Some say I’m over reacting and others don’t so I need your help. Some have also said since I am not a doctor I need to shut up and listen & I know some people feel that way on this app; they listen to everything and anything a doctor says. Well, I don’t.

My daughter went to her 9 month appointment where her pediatrician said she had a yeast infection. She did not do a culture, she just looked at her and said it was. She gave us an cream to use.

Don’t you have to do culture to find out if it’s a yeast infection? I just don’t agree with this what so ever. At her appointment her father brought her. Every single time she comes home from his house to mine she is always red. A diaper rash red. And every time I am taking her back to her dads she is never red. So, I don’t think the redness the doctor saw was a yeast infection.

Should I find a new doctor? I feel like her pediatrician treated her wrong. Should I say something? What? Thank you.
