We are naming our baby boy Sullivan Mac/Mack. Mac is after my late grandfather who I was extremely close to, but we have run into the issue not knowing how to spell it. My grandpa always told me it was spelled Mac, I know this 100%. But once we told my family other than my mom, that his middle name will be Mac after grandpa they all freaked and said that it was spelled Mack. I have caught so much grief for wanting to spell it Mac, and have even been told it’s “not even worth me naming him if it’s not going to be correct” My question is, would you go with Mac or Mack? I want to go with Mac because it has more sentimental aspects. But I also don’t want my child to catch grief his entire life about how it’s not “spelled correctly” TIA for the help.
