To ovulate or not to ovulate?

I just wanted to know if it’s possible to get pregnant 5 days before ovulation?

Answer

You get pregnant technically within 24 hours after egg is ovulated. Egg only lives 12-24 hours, so If not fertilized in that time pregnancy won’t happen. However sperm can live in the woman up to 5 days. So yes, sex 5 days before ovulation can lead to pregnancy.

I had my positive opk on the 2nd and 3rd of December but when I went for my scan I was a week more than what I was so and I was do opks I week up to my positive test
