Any recommendations?

I’m so thankful for this community and the posts. I’m 36 and my husband and I have recently started ttc. I just want to help the process along however I can. Has anyone found success with pre-seed lubricants or vitex? Those are two things that people have suggested to me. Or are there any recommendations of things you believe help conceive in upper-mid-30s?

We used preseed and tracked ovulation. I think it was helpful to buy the cheap OPK sticks from amazon and then buy the digital ones. I was always confused with the cheap sticks, but as they got darker I would use the digital and knew for sure I was ovulating.

Did you have bloodwork done at docs office? We had trouble (not so much conceiving but staying pregnant) and when I had bloodwork down, my TSH was super high - fertility doc said a common problem with women in their mid to late thirties trying to conceive. Went on a low dose hypothyroid medication and within three months (after 4 years of trying) got our sticky bean 24 weeks tomorrow! 
So my advice (I’m 35) is make a general appointment with your doctor to get all the pre-pregnancy bloodwork done, take prenatal vitamins (fertility doc also had us take a few more different ones that help boost a women in her 30s - ubiquinol active coq10 100mg and Vit D3 2000IU).

Try doing it at home if you’re open to at home insemination me and my husband tried the Mosie Baby kit I bought online and I used PRESEED you can get at Walmart  and it helped us TTC and we were pregnant in 4 months I’m not saying it’s a guarantee chance what I did will happen to you but it’s worth a TRY I mean after all it’s a Baby were getting as the ultimate prize but I would recommend this to you as my BFF recommended it to me and it worked for her as it did for me  blowing Baby dust your way 😊😊😊🙏🙏🙏

Don’t get too discouraged first of all! Though once you hit your 30s it statistically takes longer to get pregnant, you still have a great chance. And who knows maybe you’ll be lucky and not have to wait too long. But just anticipate it taking a while and know that it’s normal. I would suggest you track your cycle and maybe use OPKs. Try to BD at least every other day during your fertile week. Good luck!

Vitex is meant for very specific situations, so I would do more research before taking that. It can help or hurt depending on the situation. Preseed is good if you don’t have a lot of fertile cm but it’s not magic. Good luck!

For us I believe getting onto vitamins helped. I was on a prenatal and extra folate. My hubby was on multivitamin, high dose vitamin C and coq10. We also used pressed and were tracking ovulation with opks.

Any recommendations?
