I read that taking an antihistamine while TTC isn’t recommend as it is intended to dry things up.. so it may also prevent good conditions for my mans fishies to get where they need to, to finish the deed.

My allergies are always so bad, that I daily take generic Claritin [loratadine] or sometimes change it up & take generic Zyrtec [ceterizine] but since I have been TTC for the past 4 months, I am willing to change up anything in order to get pregnant!

However, I didn’t realize how hooked I was on antihistamines. My allergies have been AWFUL. Can anyone give me any recommendations on what else to use? I have been taking Robitussin, because I also read that a little bit of Guaifenesin right when your ovulating is supposed to help aid a healthy environment for fishies & did I mention that I am willing to try almost ANYTHING? 🤷🏼‍♀️🤣

But yes, Robitussin & Tylenol aren’t quite cutting it. My nose is still like a leaky water fountain & I sneeze at least 60 times a day. However, I honestly think I might just need to suck it up.

Any research on whether or not antihistamines are a no go during pregnancy? Seriously thank you to anyone that has read this far & to anyone who is willing to provide any pointers! 🤘🏼👍🏼 Ya’ll rock! 😘
