How much money is a reasonable amount to pay someone to watch a 9mo 3 days a week from 7am-5:30pm?

I think it depends on where you live and what kind of care you are looking for. The licensed day care where I live are 250 a week or more. If it is someone just watching the kids out of their house it is usually 25-35 dollars. But I would have to imagine that in different areas the prices would vary.

I’m so confused by some of these answers. Are you looking for a nanny or just like a babysitter? Because 15$ an hour to pay a nanny isn’t ideal for a lot of people. Depends on what your babysitter wants to charge you. I only make 15$ an hour at work. My babysitter charges 15$ a day but I pay her 20$ a day.

Im a sahm in Houston. My friends in PA pay a professional nanny about 15.50 an hour through a payroll company. I think the minimum under the table amount is $10.00 an hour.
