After how many cm do you loose your plug?

So I am 1cm and 50%effaced. Today I am 40 weeks pregnant. Induction is scheduled for 3/14. She did a sweep today just to get things going. I was wondering if anybody know after how many cm dilated you loose your mucus plug?

I lost part of my plug on Tuesday. My appt the day before I was only a little more than 1 cm dilated and 60% effaced. He did a sweep but it didn't work as I'm still here pregnant

I was 1 cm at my appt yesterday and had a sweep and lost all of my plug this morning at 4am so I'm assuming I was still 1cm.

There's no science to it. Some women don't even notice losing theirs.

Not all women see their plug! I've been losing mine for weeks and I'm not sure how dilated I was when it started. I was 2cm yesterday and got a stretch and sweep and lost tons more.
