We were gifted 2 one week vacations as a wedding gift. We are using one stay in mid - late may I’ll be 18 weeks pregnant. We are spending three days in Yosemite and then 5 days in Lake Tahoe. So I am curious if anyone has been to Yosemite and if they have any advice. We are starting in Mariposa Grove to check out the redwoods and then we’d like to check out Yosemite valley, specifically; el capital, vernall falls or Yosemite falls (depending on which hike is easier), and hopefully hetch hetchy. I should probably ad that We will not be doing these all in one day lol. So My question is, I think I can safely hike a few miles one way maybe like 2-3. But I don’t want to over do it. I am active and we hike a lot during the summer but with the elevation and possible heat I don’t want to over do it. Do you think my expectations sounds reasonable? Have you been to any of these tourist sights? What was it like?
