He throws up all the time.

Anon

So nothing is physically wrong with my dog.

He’s gone to the vet, and he continues to go at least once or twice a year, sometimes more if he’s feeling frisky.

But he literally throws up on purpose.

And yes.

I know what you are thinking.

“No something has to be wrong with him”

No, nothing is wrong with him, except he’s an Asshole.

I’ve tried everything.

he does it for attention or when he wants something.

If you are cuddling with someone and he wants to sit next to you and you tell him no, he would go to his water, drink a bunch of it, come over, and spit it up on your lap.

If you tell him he can’t sit on the couch, he will go to his water, drink it up, and walk over and spit it up on the couch or the floor.

We had started only having water out at feeding times because of it.

So now he doesn’t do it as much, but he will try to hack up something if he can if he’s told he’s not aloud on the couch or if he is trying to get attention and you don’t give it to him. (Like if I’m on the phone with someone, he will try to climb on me) and I’ll tell him no, and he’ll start hacking.

Well, anyways, I normally feed my two dogs around 5/6 pm, and I will feed him when I eat (the other two dogs are put in their kennels when I eat, and they will try stealing his food while he eats, so it’s easier to schedule it that way)

Today I made an egg salad sandwich for dinner, he has his usual dog food.

While I’m eating, he is normally good and eats his food while I eat mine, but for whatever reason, today, he wanted my sandwich.

He was slightly begging and

I tried not to have eye contact with him and ignore him.

He then walked into the kitchen, where I thought he was eating his food.

But no.

Life can never be that simple.

He casually walks back, looks at me one more time, then throws up all over the floor.

When I went into the kitchen to get paper towel, i noticed the snot had not even touched his food.

He drank a whole bowl of water just to come over and spit it up in the middle of me eating 🖕🏻

He’s had this habit for the past three years (he’s only 5) and I have no idea how to break him from it. 🤦🏻‍♀️
