Daylight saving time

Okay so i need your help ladies‼️ Time change on sunday and i normally take my pill at 8 now i have read to keep taking pill at the same time which i did last time the hour changed but would i still need protection? My boyfriend birthday is on Tuesday and i know we may not use protection so am i still protected on the pill?
