With perfect use, it’s 99% effective. But it’s more like 90-91% effective since people don’t take it properly or other medications can interfere.

If it was easy to get pregnant on birth control, it wouldn’t exist... if you take the pill at the same time everyday, like you’re supposed, you won’t get pregnant...
