Why do you think Victoria’s Secret is having to close stores?

I personally think it’s because they’re expensive and a lot of millennials are broke af 😂 I shop there but only if they’re having a sale

I think it's both of those. I would shop there if they sold larger bra sizes.

They need to have body positive models! Not everyone is a size 2 or smaller. I wanna see size 8 and up 💕 their stuff is over hyped too and expensive. I’ve never shopped there for those reasons

I mean the main reason I stopped shopping at Victorias Secret and switched to Soma is because Soma has better quality bras also Soma offered to do a fitting for me and I had never been asked at Victorias Secret like maybe they do fittings now but better service, and better product are the reasons I buy bras exclusively from Soma

A mix of both. I’ll also add that the pricing is hella expensive but the quality has gone down a lot. The bras don’t last anymore and it’s not worth dishing out 60+ dollars for a bra that doesn’t even outlast a Walmart bra.

I personally think it’s because they aren’t producing any styles that people like anymore. every time i’ve gone in there for the past two years I haven’t found anything I like. plus who wants to spend $65 on a bra that isn’t comfortable and isn’t really even thatttt cute? and a lot of people are going braless now and sticking to cotton underwear so the lady bits can breathe. also shopping only at sustainable and ethical companies is very important to a lot of people now, including me. VS just isn’t catering to what the customers want anymore.

They are apparently struggling to interest and meet the needs of their target market, which is people who buy higher end intimates. To say they’re too expensive is overly simplistic, when there are other brands selling more expensive and not failing.

Personally I think the prices are right up there with higher end brands and you can find some stuff on sale. It’s not very inclusive. I’m a size 16 right now and if I were to buy today it would be the largest size and feel a little snug. I have lots of lingerie from there and they last long. I haven’t had one go to the trash and I wash them through the washer and dryer (I know..) lol..  I stopped buying or even walking through because it’s boring. I can only think of 2 different cuts that I’ve bought for lingerie besides that standard one.. you know that one that comes in every color and print you can think of. It’s cute and comfy but after 8 colors I’m like.. seriously lol.. 
As for bras and underwear.. same thing.. I’ve put through washer and dryer and am now after 3 years, I’m planning on buying new bras. Underwear you can always get on sale if you pay attention for that 7/28 or whatever.... 
Prices are up there but it’s not ridiculous. Inclusive.. not really.. but for me I stopped shopping there cause I got bored.
