My husband and I had decided right after Valentine’s Day that we were going to “not prevent but not try” and things were good.

Flash forward to this Wednesday when AF was set to show up, and she didn’t. So I freaked out, because I don’t think I’m ready for a baby. Financially, we have some decisions to make, too.

So I tested. And held my breath the entire time that I waited for that little stick to give me a sign. NEGATIVE. And then BOOM this morning, AF shows up.

Immediately, hubby and I decided to put TTC on hold, at least for a little bit. And even though I’m a little sad that we won’t be having a baby this year, I know it’s the best thing for us right now.
