Scheded c-section but may come natural?!?

So I'm 39 weeks pregnant.. I go for my pre-op on Monday and my C-section is scheduled for Wednesday. I had a C-section with my first because she was 9.12 pounds and breach. So my doctor just suggested I have another one because I make rather large babies(as of last Thursday he's weighing 9.5 pounds). My doctor said if he decides to come natural then that's okay for me to try & two weeks ago I was 1CM dilated & 40% effaced when she checked me... but I'm scared to have an almost 10 pound baby vaginally. Lol. Idk if I'll make it to Wednesday with the way these contractions are going. I don't feel like i need to go to the hospital yet but if they get stronger and closer together I'm definitely gunna go... Just was wondering if anyone else has experienced this?!?!
