With the mind set to add colour!

LOL anyway I used crayola coloured pencils ( cause well money tight and art is nOt cheap ) this was my first decent coloured drawing and I’m just open to any tips, ideas to improve ect

That’s really good, and you wanted some advice so ima give some advice. Whenever you draw a person imagine their torso is an upside down triangle instead of a square and don’t be fearful to beef up them arms. If you want quality art supplies for less you can use lots of coupons at Michaels and you can price match for a better deal. Maybe even save up money for ones like Prismacolor, they are oil based so they are made to blend. Price match so they are 15 dollars at Target :D

I personally liked it better before you outlined it. When you soft-colored it, it gave it a nice nostalgic feel, but the outlines seem to wayy overshadow the colored pencil. This may sound scary at first, as I wasn't a believer for a long time, but try coloring darker? Like, pressing harder on the paper to make the colors more solid. You can still get value and shading by blending with the lighter of the 2 or more colors you're using. Just try it out on something and if you don't like it, ignore me 😋.
