Sleeping!!!

My son is 7 months and sleeps great for the first 3-4 hrs and then wakes and wants to feed. Once he goes to sleep I try to lay him down again and he instantly starts crying!!! I don’t know what to do as long as he is touching me he is fine. Does anyone else have this problem? What can I do to help both of us get better sleep?

We’ve dealt with this as well. She would just end up in bed with us. We tried until we were too exhausted—we both work full time so we give up eventually. We discovered it has to do with her teething though. We just finished up the 2nd time of it happening. It made this time around a little easier knowing why she was acting that way. Just have to wait for it to pass (and hope it actually does). Good luck mama!

Hopefully that’s what it is! I hope they come soon so he can sleep in own bed for awhile! 🤪

Sounds like we are living the same night ones 😬

We also are going through the same thing. If she’s in her bed she sleeps terrible, but in our bed she only wakes once for a bottle and sleeps 7-7. We thought it was teething, but I am now thinking it’s separation anxiety. I saw her in the middle of the night look for me and her dad, then after she saw us both she fell right back to sleep. I honestly sleep ok with her in bed, so I’m going to let it happen for a little longer. I don’t blame her for getting scared in a dark room all alone.

Same thing happens to us! Does he sleep on his side? My son seems to do better when I lay him on his side. Sometimes he’ll wake up and start getting fuzzy, and I flip him to his side, while holding him (as if I’m carrying him, but he’s actually laying down on his crib) I do this until he calms down. If it doesn’t work, I carry him again... I try this until it works lol. We don’t have a big enough bed to co-sleep safely, so if I bring him to our bed my husband has to go to the couch. We try our best to keep him in his own room, but I’ve never let him just cry it out. He’s gotten much better lately, now he’s waken up by pee leaking out of his diaper, which means we can finally use those night diapers and pray that this is the answer to our sleepy prayers lol. Good luck!
