Best breast pump??

I am due in October. This will be my first baby. I would like to know what breast pump you ladies used? What did you like about and what didn't you like about it? I am planning on breastfeeding but I have no idea what to go with..please help

I have the medela pisa and I have the spectra now for my 2nd. By far my spectra is way more comfortable and 100% customizable. I actually stopped pumping because my medela wasn’t comfortable with my first. With the spectra there’s 3 different levels of vacuum and 12 levels of suction and you can change everything with a click of a button. It also has a screen and a night light which has come in handy.

I have the Medela Sonata! I LOVE it!👍🏾 It's quiet, customizable, easy to use, has great features, etc. I also pumped a lot of milk during every pumping session. I was able to get it completely free so be sure to check with your insurance.👍🏾

Spectra- you have plenty of time to figure it out though! My insurance wouldn’t accept a prescription until I was 36 weeks because the breast pumps actually “expire” (they still work- it’s just like infant car seats expire.) I know it seems overwhelming thinking about all the stuff you need but take your time! Create a registry and slowly add stuff to it over the next few months as you get advice and research.

I had the PISA and a Hygeia with baby one. They were pretty similar, but the Hygeia was better for portability. I’m thinking about the Sonata this time. There’s no point in getting it early. It will just sit. I’ll go get mine around 36-38 weeks.

I have the Medela Pump in Style in the tote version for home, and the backpack version for work.  I like them both!

I have a Medela pump in style advance and a Spectra S2. I like my Spectra much better! I have used the Medela hospital grade pump as well (NICU babies) and still like my Spectra the best. Spectra has better features which allows you to customize the pump speed and vacuum. Medela pumps don’t have that feature which made it uncomfortable to me.

I have both a medela pump in style and a spectra 2. I love them both. In my opinion,  the spectra is better but the medela is more portable and smaller.

I have the Pump In Style Advanced (backpack). It was very convenient (user friendly, travel, cleaning/caring for). Got me through 13 months with my son and I plan to use it again for number 2. 
After washing the tubes a fair amount of times, I did have to replace them. Spare parts are definitely helpful (especially around the 3 month marks) to get the most out of pumping sessions.
