Next IUI cycle and drinking

I know women drinking while trying to ttc is controversial, but what about men. So I am on CD1 and going into IUI #3. With how the dates are looking, my husband would be on a work trip the 2 days before he would give his sample. Unfortunately with his line of work he is expected to take these customers out and show them a good time which means he will be drinking and maybe a good amount. Would you go ahead with this cycle or just skip it? I dont know how much drinking right before doing a sperm sample would change the sperm or mobility?
