Does your baby move away from the Doppler?

I got baby’s heartbeat first at 8+1.  It was super easy to find an record.  I did it once more at 8+3, easy again.  I decided not to do it too often so waited until today to look again today and not do it more than once a week.  I found it really easily again but baby kept moving away 😂 I’d get it, then baby would move, find it again, hear it a few seconds, and baby would move again 😂
Maybe it bothers them?  I’m not sure I want to keep doing it if that’s the case, even once a week.  
I listened to my daughter’s heartbeat every night in third trimester but it wasn’t with a doppler, one of those old Bebe sounds units that doesn’t work nearly as well.

Yes and at my 35 week appointment she kicked it 😂😂

When they’re able to hear it can be surprising to them. Also when you’re pushing on your stomach they will react. But at 8 weeks, baby is probably just swimming around in there so much that it’s hard to hear the heartbeat for long in one spot.

My little one moves away from the Doppler constantly too. I wasn’t able to find her until 16 weeks due to an anterior I’m 25 weeks now and she still moves away from it lol

My daughter hates it. I never saw a reason to buy one cause I don’t want to startle her.

I found mine 2 days ago for the first time at 9w5d and in the recording you can hear it get faint a couple times and then come back so I think baby moved. I just keep listening to the recording over and over because I love the sound but I don’t want to use the Doppler too much. I’ll probably wait a week to try to find it again.
