I’m 24 weeks. Having a ton of sciatic problems and some hip discomfort. Used to go to chiro regularly prior to getting pregnant but haven’t been since July. Just nervous and need some reassurance that it is completely safe now that I’m out of the first trimester! We lost our last baby and of course I’m paranoid about our rainbow.

I had to use one in my first because the sciatica got to the point I couldn’t function. It was a life saver. I haven’t gotten that bad yet but I would go back if it gets that bad again. Ask what their experience is working with pregnant women.

I’m seeing one weekly and she can move practically every part of the table so the tummy are it’s lower than the chest and legs so I can be face down and don’t have pressure at all at the belly! Just make sure that the practitioner have previous experience with pregnant women and has the right equipment and you should be just fine 😊

Yes, most chiropractors get specially trained for pregnancy. So check if yours is and if they are definitely keep going! It’s made a huge difference for me this pregnancy

I saw my chiro all through first pregnancy. Plan to do the same thing with this pregnancy. I think it helped me during pregnancy and helped my body to be ready for labor and delivery. My chiro changes his approach including the type of table he adjusts me on (so there's more room for my belly).
A great chiro knows how to adjust during different stages of pregnancy. :)

If they are specifically trained in how to treat a pregnant lady, why not? 🤷🏻‍♀️ Its just like getting a message. You’re not supposed to just go to anyone. There’s masseuse specifically trained in prenatal massages
